Most tools are supplied with a cutter ground backoff, which is a series of angles to backoff the cutting edges...and which limits the resharpening possibilities. Radial and Axial Cam Relieved tools are backed off eccentrically, giving the tool almost constant form and strength...and many more resharpening possiblities. We are able to provide tools in any of the high speed steels or tipped tools(tangtung or carbide) brazed to 4140 body with a Rockwell "C" scale of 45-50.

Retipping and Sharpening Tools To serve as your complete source of tools, we maintain a department for retipping and resharpening tools. Many of our customers have found there is a significant savings obtained by having Radial Tools retipped instead of purchasing new ones.
