The eccentric bushings make possible concentric grinding of the recessing tools, and they can then be rotated for right or left hand recessing. Tools have a positive stop which accurately controls the turned diameter and are equipped with a guide block on the swinging arm for rigidity. When the tool has been advanced into the work and is in a position ready to cut, the arm carrying the cutting tool is actuated by a fixed or an adjustable guide mounted on the cross slide. Each tool comes with two eccentric bushings.
