No. 65 Adjustable Tool Holders
Adjustable Holders are used for holding drills, reamers, counterbores and similar tools, providing a simple means of centering these cutting tools with the work.
The cutting tool is mounted in the head of the tool either directly or by use of a bushing and is clamped securely in place by a set screw. An important advantage of this holder is that it maintains the axis of the tool parallel with the machine spindle, as essential condition for accurate alignment of the tool with the work.
